2012 Report
In 2012 nearly half a million people came through the Library doors, checking out over 900,00 items and over 28,000 of these people came to the Library to attend programs. With the surge of e-readers and the continued demand for general digital literacy training, the Library focused on technology education. However, knowledge is also gained by direct interactions with other people, so technology was balanced with a number of community based fairs developed to assist local organizations in sharing their information. The Board of Trustees focused on the implementation of the Long Range Strategic Plan, with a strong focus on fiscal stewardship.
