The Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library accepts applications continually for all of the positions listed (see note below). The positions are filled on an as needed basis. Once submitted, applications are kept on file for 120 days.
A library employment application is required for consideration. Applications for employment are also available at the Library during regular business hours. Please be sure to list which position you are applying for on the employment application. Applications should be submitted to the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library, 475 Moe Road, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
- A Master's Degree in Library or Information Science from an ALA-accredited library school or registered by the NYS Education Department. A New York State Public Librarian's Certificate is also required. A Civil Service examination may be required.
- A high school diploma and one year of clerical experience. A Civil Service examination may be required.

All positions in the Library are classified and prospective candidates must meet the minimum requirements as specified in the job description, and pass the required test to be considered for the position.
