- What are the job responsibilites for a Library Page?
- How old do you need to be to work at the library as a Page?
- How do I apply?
- I would like a summer job. Is the application process the same?
- I would like to volunteer as a page. Who should I see?
Job responsibilities include shelving library materials, straightening shelves, opening/closing the library, and assisting in other areas as requested.
We recommend for our pages to be 15 years old due to working restrictions.
You may pick up and return applications at the Circulation Desk. Completed applications are kept on file for up to one year. If at any time during that year we need to hire, we will review the applications to determine the best qualified individuals and call you to arrange an interview.
The Library does not hire seasonal pages. Due to the length of time it takes to fully train a page, it would not be a wise use of Library resources.
Any volunteer pages you see are working through the schools or other programs. However, if you are a member with the Friends of the Library, there are many opportunities to volunteer. Their web address is www.cliftonpark.org/friendsofcphl Just follow the links to locate the contact person.
