Good evening. I am pleased to represent the Building and Expansion Committee tonight and offer our recommendation for expanding the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library.

Before I go into the details of our recommendation, I want to recognize other committee members and thank them for the many hours they have put in over the last 8 months. Cliff Bueno, our co-chairperson, could not be here tonight, but Vince Aceto, Dave Golden, Daphne Jordan and Zeb Robbins are all present.

It has been a challenging time putting this recommendation together, but we are confident that the Board will find it responsive to both the needs of the Library and the Community.
