Clifton Park History Hunt
Get ready to see a side of Clifton Park you may never have noticed up to now! Before the Northway, before Route 9, before Robert Van Patten, Clifton Park was made up of seven hamlets. Beginning May 1st, visit the Library’s Ask Desk and pick-up a History Hunt Passport and Map. You will have three weeks to complete the hunt. Then join us at Power's Pub on May 21st at 4:00pm for a celebration! Registration required for History Hunt celebration.
Documentary: The Anonymous People

This feature documentary film is about the more than 23 million Americans living in long-term recovery from addiction to alcohol and other drugs. A discussion facilitated by Recovery Advocacy in Saratoga (RAIS), Our Voice, and the Prevention Council will follow viewing of the film. No registration required.
Crossing Cultures Luncheon

The Friends of the Library and ELL are sponsoring a multi-cultural lunch at the Library. Join with the Friends to meet new people from all over the world and enjoy a multi-cultural potluck lunch. Anyone who uses the Library is welcome to join us. Students from our three literacy classes will be providing favorite dishes from their homelands. If you wish, please prepare and bring a dish your family enjoys! Register.
An Evening with Nathalia Holt

Nathalia Holt will be speaking at the library about her new book Rise of the Rocket Girls: the Women Who Propelled Us, from Missiles to the Moon to Mars. Books will be available to purchase from the Open Door Bookstore, and Ms. Holt will be signing books after her presentation. This event is cosponsored with the FOL Two Towns-One Book committee.
