2012-2013 Battle of the Books
The Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library is seeking 5th graders to join our Battle of the Books teams! 
Teams from each of the Shenendehowa Elementary Schools and the CPHPL willbecome experts on selected books. The Library teams will engage in a team-based competition answering questions about these books on January 15. One winning team will read four more books and advance to the second/final round of competition on March 19 against the winning teams from the Shenendehowa Elementary Schools.
Shenendehowa students can apply to the Library’s team only if they have not applied to their schools team.The Friends of the Library will sponsor our teams and provide books and other incentives throughout the competition.
Entry forms must be submitted to the Library by November 29 at 9pm. Team members will be selected by random drawing on Friday, November 30. The Library willl sponsor up to 4 teams of 5 students each for Round One.
