iPads, Computers and Laptops...Oh My!
In addition to our Children's games and Internet computers, we now have iPads loaded with Children's games and educational apps available for use in the Children's Library. As with our other computers, patrons are permitted to use the devices for 1 hour at a time, for up to 3 hours per day if nobody else is waiting. Stop at the Youth Reference Desk to borrow a device**.
The Children's Library has Internet-enabled computers with access to black & white and color printers available for use by children and adults accompanied by children. A Library card is required and signed parental consent is required for patrons under age 18. There is a charge for printing - $.10/page for black & white and $.50/page for color.
Wondering what to do while your child plays and reads? Internet enabled laptops are available for use by adults in the Library**. Information may be found at the Ask a Librarian Desk on the lower level. Read more about the computer services available at our Library.
**This service is available to Library Tax District residents over the age of age 18 and in good standing with the Library. Possession of someone else’s card does not imply permission to check out an iPad or laptop. The adult cardholder must be present to checkout and sign the agreement. Valid library card and photo ID are required. iPads may not be taken from the Children's Library. Laptops may be used in the Main library areas, as well as the Children's Library.
