Summer Fun!

Looking for something fun to do this summer? Here are some suggestions...brought to you by the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library

• Start your summer reading with a title from the Shenendehowa CSD Summer Reading Lists and read the Summer 2008 Survival Guide written by the Shenendehowa Elementary Librarians.
• Catch the Reading Bug @ Your Library!

  Join the Summer Reading Club (SRC) @ the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library, beginning Mon., 6/23. The SRC, for school-age children (entering K & up in fall 2008), takes place in libraries throughout New York State every year. Its purpose is to encourage the joy of reading. In addition, libraries offer stimulating programs designed to challenge the mind. For details, please see the 2008 Summer Program Brochure.

• Sign up for a fun program at the Library, call 371-8622 or stop by the Welcome Desk to register. Check our online calendar for youth programs and young adult programs. Also, view our available RSS feeds to keep in touch with what's happening at the Library.
• Visit the New York State Summer Reading Program website for fun and games.
• Check out the Town of Clifton Park youth programs and the Town of Halfmoon youth programs.
