Computer classes for adults on topics such as Window 7, Microsoft Word and Excel, File Management, Digital Photography for Beginners and more are available at no cost at the Library. Registration is required and is on a first come, first served basis, with the suggestion of 5 classes maximum per student per session.
Digital Literacy workshops*: The library offers a special series of workshops designed to help the public enhance their digital skills. The workshops consist of four classes: Computer Basics for Beginners, Internet Basics for Beginners, Word Basics for Beginners, Digital Communication Basics. Registration includes one class per week for four weeks. Students who wish to receive a Digital Literacy certificate need to attend all four classes in the series as well as complete an assessment at the end of each class.

* Digital Literacy Workshops were designed by the New York Library Association and New York State Office of Cyber Security & Critical Infrastructure to provide a curriculum that standardizes the digital literacy training content across the state. The Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library is one of many training centers in NYS to be offering the public this service.
