Regret

Regrets won't make it go away
They'll be there tomorrow
The first artificial light when you wake up
The plaster on the ceiling
Humility only breaks you down
And now you are shattered
Squeeze your eyes closed
Dig your own grave
But when the darkness opens, it's there
A million words won't erase it
If only, if only
Reminders that never stick to your stubborn mind
Keep wishing, it's still there
Now part of the growing list of mistakes you made
Of all the people, this happened to you
Everyone makes mistakes
So why isn't everyone bashing their heads?
Ridiculous suicides you plot out suddenly
Anonymous words, your echoes
Cycle, it goes, it comes
What doesn't kill you only strengthens
Eventually you'll forget
Until then you're traveling with hate groups inside
Regret. It's gone.
