Act Your Age

Everyone knows that life doesn't last forever
And there's nothing we can do about that.
In life you need to act your age,
But remember you're still a kid on the inside.
At least that's what my dad always says,
So be a kid!
Splash in puddles when it rains!
Eat ice cream on a sunny day!
Shout hooray when your team scores!
Have fun!!
Scream, dance, or sing a song.
Do what you want and be who you are.
Your happiness is important to the world.
So, show it when you're happy,
And show it when you aren't!
Enjoy the things that make you smile.
Stay a kid forever!
Remember,
Act Your Age!
