Believe

I'm sitting in my room
Wondering what I could achieve.

Wondering what's true or false,
Or what I should believe.

Thinking about what's right or wrong,
And what would be the right thing to do.

I know I can respect others,
I know I can be kind.

But what about when I'm selfish,
And helping others doesn't cross my mind.

Everyone should be respected equally,
Including me and you.

If no one teased or taunted,
I'm sure people would find

That the world would be a better place,
In everybody's mind.
