Excuse Poem

by Shannon

This morning I got attacked by reindeer
But now it seems so unclear.
I was walking to the bus stop,
When I heard a loud clop-clop.
I turned around and saw them on the hilltop

Down the hilltop they came running,
The sight was just stunning!
Four of them grabbed my backpack;
I tried to take it back,
But the biggest one gave me a whack.
This game went on forever and ever,
Those reindeer were very clever.
I finally saw my math homework
Fly out and land on the ground,
When a stout reindeer plopped down...
When he got up my math paper was completely brown!

My teacher will never believe what a group of reindeer can achieve!
