Solitude

She lived alone in the lands of forever,
Where the sun rarely shined and there was cloudy weather.
She lived on an island of peace and solitude,
Where no one could taunt her and be so very rude,
The colors of her life were dull and very dim,
And the waters that surrounded her were impassable to swim.
Sometimes she'd cry out just to hear a sound,
But no one would call back because no one was around,
So after many years she felt the loneliness,
But it had been much too long so all she could do was wish,
Wish she had never came here to the lands of forever,
Wish she could just die and come back... never,
And one day she did... but she left her life still there,
So one day she'd come back to the no one anywhere,
For she seemed to love her island, her life of solitude,
And the lessons that she learned there, though people may be rude,
No one lives without them,
Without color,
Just solitude...
