We offer a variety of programs. Please check our calendar for more information.

Outreach

For individuals who cannot leave their homes to come to the Library, the Friends of the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library can bring books, audiobooks, magazines, and movies to you. For more information, call us and ask for the Outreach Librarian.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

We provide interlibrary loan service for certain materials not available in the Southern Adirondack Library System. Please see the Ask Desk for details and assistance.

English Language Learners (ELL)

We offer classes for English Language Learners. Classes include conversation, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary development, pronunciation, American culture, and current events for all levels of English. Classes are free and open to the public.

Notary

The Library offers free Notary Public Services.  Please call the library in advance to make an appointment.

Guidelines:

  • DO NOT sign your document in advance; signature must be completed in the presence of a notary.
  • Entire document must be present and completed, except the signature.
  • A valid, government issued photo ID is required.
  • The Library cannot supply witnesses; you must provide your own.
  • Notary services are limited. Notaries at the Library cannot sign I-9 Forms, wills, codicils, mortgage documents, deeds, living wills, living trusts, or any document not in English.
  • Notaries cannot certify the authenticity of a document, provide legal advice or counseling regarding documents.
  • Library staff reserves the right to refuse notary services at his or her discretion.

Art Gallery

The library participates in the Saratoga Arts Council Art in Public Places program. Artist exhibits change monthly.
